2005 Spanish Tourism Stats

Nice Places

Via LaRazon.es-- How much does the typical tourist spend in Spain daily? 86 euros, according to the newly released statistics of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce. That's an increase of 4.9% from last year's averages.

Combined, foreigners visiting Spain spent 43,394 million euros in the first eleven months of this year. That number is also up from last year's (a 4.9% increase). However, the average amount spent per foreign person has decreased 1.8%. Contradiction? Not really - it just means more people come (6.2% more, to be exact), staying fewer days on average (10 nights, 6.4% decrease).

Okay, that should be enough numbers for you to compare yourself to the average tourist in Spain.
