Chinatown

Habitually referred to as "Chinablock", this small neighborhood is located between Downtown Montreal and Old Montreal. It's certainly worth a brief visit, if only to enjoy the festive and somewhat chaotic atmosphere that reigns there on weekends. There are, however, no major landmarks or attractions in the neighborhood.

Places to Eat, etc

As one would expect, Chinatown restaurants are mostly of the Chinese persuasion (Cantonese cuisine being most represented), although there are also Vietnamese and other Asian eateries. But don't come here for any other kind of cuisine as there's nothing else.
