The stretch of Rue St-Catherine, between Rue Guy and Rue Atwater has at least two dozen inexpensive restaurants. Our editors' favorite is a Turkish restaurant Avesta.

The scene couldn't be more different up on Rue Sherbrooke. There, an upscale modern (market) cuisine restaurant Brontë continues to delight its guests with fresh food and attractive presentation.
