A gradually gentrifying blue-collar district, Saint Henri was, in the middle of the first decade of the 21st century, anointed as "the next Plateau" by many observers of the cool. A decade or so later, the Plateau is still the Plateau and Saint-Henri is, alas, still Saint-Henri. But now with (a lot) more condos! And a McGill residence hall.
