The 47-story modernist/post-modernist building was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and built in the late 1980s/early 1990s. Its height, with the antenna, is approximately 227 meters (743 feet), which complies with the famous Montreal regulation requiring all skyscrapers not to exceed the height of Mount Royal (233 meters).
