Le Bristol Expands

After two years of construction, Le Bristol, one of the swankiest hotels of Paris, will open a new wing with 26 rooms, 5 suites and a new restaurant.

This addition represents its first major expansion since the hotel's opening in 1925.

The adjacent Haussman-period building was acquired by the hotel in 2007. Its top floors, housing suites, will offer panoramic views of the city and the Eiffel Tower.

Photo: Joe Shlabotnik The new restaurant will be managed by Michelin-starred chef Éric Frechon, one of the best-known chefs in Paris who is - a rarity among culinary professionals - a recipient of the ‘Legion d’Honneur' chevalier medal, which was awarded to him by the French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Guendaline Litta Modignani is responsible for the décor of the restaurant.
