After two years of construction, Le Bristol, one of the swankiest hotels of Paris, will open a new wing with 26 rooms, 5 suites and a new restaurant.

This addition represents its first major expansion since the hotel's opening in 1925.

The adjacent Haussman-period building was acquired by the hotel in 2007. Its top floors, housing suites, will offer panoramic views of the city and the Eiffel Tower.

The new restaurant will be managed by Michelin-starred chef Éric Frechon, one of the best-known chefs in Paris who is - a rarity among culinary professionals - a recipient of the ‘Legion d'Honneur' chevalier medal, which was awarded to him by the French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Guendaline Litta Modignani is responsible for the décor of the restaurant.
