Staying at (most) hotels in Montreal is considerably cheaper than elsewhere in large
North American cities, although the city's northern climate guarantees big swings in
demand (and therefore, in hotel rates).
Montreal Hotels There are only a handful of 5-star hotels in the city, but given that the city is not a financial capital it once was, they suffice (in any case, one or two more are on the way). Most mere mortals will find the selection of 4-star properties quite adequate. Those with a taste for modern design should check out Hotel Gault, Hôtel Le Germain, Hotel Nelligan and the W - Montreal.  |
