if you come in tirana this days, you will see that everywhere the
streets and the squares are under constraction..the Mayor and his peeps have decided that it would be a great idea to started all street
work at the same time, which has caused a big mess in the
capitol..there is a lot of smoke throughout the city making it so you can barely breathe. Even the side walks are under constraction, so it's really hard for people to find a place to walk. most of the time they are
forced to walk in the street ,which is really dangerous because the cars go
very fast and can hit you in no time without warning.
another amazing thing are the traffic lights - there used to be very few and all of a sudden they've installed new traffic lights everywhere. However, the drivers consider it an alien concept to let pedestrians cross when the "walk" sign is illuminated. Instead they start honking, and start yelling at the pedestrians to find a better hobby than this idiotic WALKING stuff. so if you're in Tirana, you'll be very lucky to find yourself in a car these days....
