9th Arrondissement

On This Page: ↓Attractions   ↓Hotels   ↓News

One of the centers of cultural life in the early 20th century, the 9th arrondissement is centered on the Grands Boulevards neighborhood and houses many architectural masterpieces (the Opéra Garnier is perhaps one of the best-known).

The 9th arrondissement has well-developed tourism infrastracture. Strolling Avenue de l'Opéra you'll immediately notice a plethora of foreign tourism outposts and airline ticket offices. Hotels are plentiful as well.

Attractions

The almost absurdly opulent Opéra Garnier (1 place de l'Opéra) was built in 1875 by the architect Charles Garnier.

Hotels

Most hotels near the Opéra Garnier are reasonably priced.
