Frauenkirche

Frauenkirche means "The Church of Our Lady" in German. Hopefully, the readers know what lady they are talking about. The cathedral is very German - strict and imposing. The two towers (100 and 101 meters) suddenly (and unexpectedly) reminded me of the World Trade Center. Curiously, the church withstood dozens and dozens of air bombing raids by the allies during the Second World War. 70% of Munich's buildings were not so lucky.
