Old Customs House

The Old Customs House (built 1836) as seen from Rue de la Commune. A little booklet I've got next to me says it was the first public building in Montreal designed by a professional architect. Hmmm... strange.. who was designing public buildings before that? Anyway, behind it, on your left, you can see the black top of Tour de la Bourse.
