Place Vendôme: the Column

The column (Jacques Gondoin and Jean-Baptiste Lepère, 1806-1810) at the Place Vendôme (1st Arrondissement). The column commemorates Napoleon's victory at Austerlitz. It was cast from approximately 1,000 Austrian cannons. And the little guy at the top? It's Napoleon himself.
