Pedestrian Bridge in Gion

A pedestrial bridge over one of the canals in Kyoto's Gion district. I wouldn't be surprised if they train the trees to drop their leaves just so. The inscription - painfully exquisite, tastefully fashioned - is probably a mere street sign.
