Ponte Sant'Angelo

The Sant'Angelo Bridge across the Tiber (Tevere) is one of the oldest structures in Rome built by the emperor Hadrian around 135AD. The bridge consists of seven stone arches and five main spans of about 18 m each, supported on piers 7 m high. Piazza San Pedro is not far from here (about 400m to your right).
