Walkway at Ryogen-In

Side view from the walkway encircling the main hall at Ryogen-In, facing the edge of the main rock garden. No view is accidental in these gorgeous temples. The rocks in the main rock garden are framed nicely by the walls and walkways of the temple, like punctuation at the end of a sentence. Even my companion Candid, sitting at the edge, becomes part of the rock tableau.
