Walking Along Kamogawa

Walking Along Kamogawa

Walkway next to the Kamogawa River in Kyoto. To the right of this path running along residential and commercial buildings is a small canal, an ivy-covered wall, a heavily trafficked boulevard, and then the river. You would never know so much is going on in such a small space, though, because of how the path was crafted to seem intimate and "meandering." I love the little robot-like path lights, too.
